Dick Cimino was a prominent past-president of NAIFA-Tampa who was very active in our Association and in the Tampa Bay community. Upon his passing, NAIFA-Tampa's "Life Underwriter of the Year Award" was re-named the "Dick Cimino Distinguished Service Award". Dick was honored for his many NAIFA accomplishments and for the numerous civic contributions he made in the Tampa Bay area. It is because of him that we recognize and honor his legacy to another nominee each year.
In order to be nominated for this award each individual should meet the following requirements:
- Continuing participation and membership in good standing in NAIFA, NAIFA-Florida and NAIFA-Tampa.
- Continuing participation and membership in good standing in the Political Action Committee (IFAPAC).
- Actively pursuing and supporting membership endeavors for NAIFA-Tampa and has served the Association well by participating in its growth and service to its membership
- Actively supporting public service projects and community activity through outreach and involvement.
